Accessibility Statement
Effective September 6, 2026
Crest Hill Clinic is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including visitors who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or rely on other assistive technology. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continue to review and improve this site as we become aware of issues.
Conformance Target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more usable for everyone.
Measures We've Taken
This site includes a number of features built specifically for accessibility, including:
- A visible focus indicator on links, buttons, and form fields for keyboard navigation
- A skip-to-content link and a proper page landmark structure
- A mobile menu that can be fully operated by keyboard or touch, including support for closing it with the Escape key
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
- Form submission status announced to screen readers
- Support for reduced-motion preferences
- Text and background color combinations checked against WCAG contrast requirements
Known Limitations
No website is perfectly accessible to everyone, and we know there may be parts of this site that don't yet work as well as they should with assistive technology. Embedded third-party content, such as our Google Maps location map, is provided by Google and outside our direct control.
